Each client is assigned a dedicated service team who will be focused on all aspects of servicing your plan. Our service teams are charged with ensuring each client’s needs and expectations are well understood and our service approach is tailored to satisfy those needs.
Our staff has many years of experience in the design, implementation and ongoing servicing of retirement plans. We have serviced a wide variety of organizations over the years from sole proprietors to large publicly owned companies.
RSA has built a robust technology platform for servicing our clients, which allows us to serve them at the highest level while providing maximum security and privacy with their personal and financial information. Our state of the art technology is essential to our ability to provide our clients with all plan data via secure electronic e-mail and data exchanges.

For 2018 our clients contributed more than $86 million dollars to their retirement plans resulting in approximate tax savings of $21.4 million dollars for the company and its employees. A Team Of Professionals
Steve has over 30 years experience in assisting employers with the design, implementation and ongoing administration of their qualified retirement plans.
Steve formed Retirement Solutions Advisors in 2007. RSA provides retirement plan design, compliance and consulting services to a wide variety of businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the United States.
Prior to forming RSA Steve was a Managing Director of the Pension Consulting Services Group of American Express Tax and Business Services. In that role, he was responsible for the management of the group’s “open architecture” daily valuation administration service platform.
His expertise includes consulting with employers on appropriate plan selection, assuring the plan’s compliance with applicable Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor Regulations and streamlining the ongoing administration of their plans. Steve has obtained the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
Director of Operations
Eric has over 20 years of experience in assisting employers with the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of their qualified retirement plans. Before joining RSA in 2008 Eric worked as a Supervisor of the Pension Consulting Services Group of RSM McGladrey, Inc.
In that role, he was responsible for the management and training of recordkeeping service team members who utilized the group’s “open architecture” daily valuation administration service platform.
His expertise includes years of daily recordkeeping administration experience, training new hires, consulting with employers on plan design changes, assuring the plan’s compliance with applicable Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor Regulations and streamlining the ongoing administration of their plans. Prior to working at RSM McGladrey, Eric was a senior pension administrator with American Express Tax & Business Services where he was responsible for administering multiple daily valuation clients. The firm was acquired by RSM McGladrey in 2005. Eric obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and MBA degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
Senior Plan Administrator
Jim has over 25 years of experience in assisting employers with the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of their qualified retirement plans. Before joining RSA in 2010, Jim worked as a Senior Plan Administrator of the Pension Consulting Services Group of RSM McGladrey, Inc.
In that role he was responsible for assisting employers with compliance testing, calculating benefits and other administrative aspects of 401(k) and 403(b) plans.
Jim received his Bachelor in Accounting from St. Joseph’s College.
Retirement Plan Consultant and AdministratorBrennan Perkins has been working as a retirement plan administrator since 2006 and with Retirement Solutions Advisors, LLC since 2010.
He has extensive experience in providing regulatory compliance services to 401(k) and 403(b) plans.
Brennan consults with our clients to ensure the setup and design of the plan meets the client’s objectives.
He is also responsible for the ongoing compliance and administration services including determining maximum tax-benefit contributions for small business owners, resolving compliance issues and assisting with plan audits. Brennan also provides administration services for all of RSA’s defined benefit plans. Brennan received his B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Plan AdministratorDana Pawlowski joined the company in October of 2011. She handles plan compliance services, manages the legal plan documents, and is highly involved in the other daily functions necessary to administrate a retirement plan.
Dana is strongly dedicated to her clients’ satisfaction not only with their plan as a whole but with the customer based service the team strives to provide.lculation of plan benefits, and other administrative aspects of 401(k) and 403(b) plans.
Before coming to the team, Dana worked in various case management roles with two major insurance companies here in Chicago. It was in these roles that she was able to fine-tune her client-centered approach and grow her passion to provide the most appropriate benefits to her clients.
Dana obtained her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and her graduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition to the professional affiliations she keeps with the company, she plans to work towards her Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) certification in the upcoming year.
Plan AdministratorJennifer McDonald became a member of RSA in November of 2015. She manages client relations, marketing, legal plan documents, and other compliance services for 401(k) and 403(b) plans. Jenny is originally from Anna Maria Island, FL and moved to Chicago in 2008. Jenny has worked in various supporting, administrative, and customer service roles before joining the team at RSA.
Adrian is the newest member of Retirement Solutions Advisors starting in November of 2017. She works primarily in customer service and handles administrative duties including overseeing all the day to day functions in the office as the Administrative Assistant. She directly handles financial matters such as client billing & accounts payable. Adrian also helps prepare 401(k) and 403(b) plan documents. She has over 7 years of experience working as an administrative assistant and has extensive experience with customer service.
